How should I track sales?

Celery is equipped with a complete suite of analytics for all use cases. Below is an explanation on how you can leverage these tools to measure performance.

Getting Started

Google Analytics

At the most basic level, you can use Google Analytics to measure cart abandonment rates, e-commerce conversion values and referring sources.

To set this up, simply paste in your analytics ID into your Celery app settings and follow the instructions here

Order Reports

The reports view in Celery allows you to track units sold and cumulative dollars for each product or variant over a pre-specified period of time. Many merchants use this for a variety of purposes:
  1. Determine popular SKUs.
  2. Send order quantities for each SKU to manufacturing.
  3. View sales volume over specific time periods.

Ad Attribution

Using custom scripts, you can place conversion pixels onto your order confirmation pages in Celery. With this, you can track the performance of paid ad campaigns on any platform such as Adwords or Facebook. This is critical to properly measure CPA and optimize spend.
