How do I add a coupon to an order?

Many buyers forget to apply promotional codes during checkout. Luckily, Celery allows you to apply discounts retroactively so there's no need for re-orders.

  1. The order must be an unpaid Stripe order.
  2. If the order is paid, you will need to ask the buyer to re-order or issue a partial refund outside of Celery.

Getting Started

1. Apply a price adjustment to change the order total. Please note that this method only works for unpaid Stripe orders.

2. Write something descriptive for the reason (i.e. the name of the coupon that's being applied) and choose how much to decrement the order total.

3. Click Save. The order total should automatically re-calculate.
