What are locked orders?

When you charge an order, Celery locks the order to prevent actions that could result in issues such as double charging. When Celery receives a response from the payment gateway (e.g., Stripe, Affirm), Celery will unlock the order and the order can be updated.

If you notice an order that is in locked state for more than a few minutes, please contact us at help@trycelery.com.
