Installing Celery with Squarespace

Overview

Please be aware of the caveats below before proceeding.
  1. Celery works independently of Squarespace (inventory, orders, and fulfillment).
  2. Celery can be turned on/off by the merchant at any time.

Getting Started

Step 1: Hover over an element and click on the bubble.

Step 2: Look for "Button" and set your Celery shop link as the clickthrough URL.

Step 3: Paste the following code into your Squarespace header via Code Injection (Home -> Settings -> Advanced).

<script src="//code.jquery.com/jquery-1.11.0.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
$(function() {
  setTimeout(function() {
    $('a[href="https://shop.trycelery.com/page/YOURSLUG"]').attr('data-celery', 'YOURSLUG').attr('data-celery-version', 'v2');
    $('a[href="https://shop.trycelery.com/page/YOURSLUG"]').attr('onclick', 'return false;');
  }, 100);

  setTimeout(function() {
  var script = document.createElement('script');
  script.src = "https://www.trycelery.com/js/celery.js";
  document.getElementsByTagName('head')[0].appendChild(script);
  }, 100);
});
</script>

Be mindful to replace "YOURSLUG" with the correct unique identifier shown in your shop link. Your Celery slug can be found inside your product editor as shown below.

That's it!
